STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the almighty God, the Holy Father, Son and Spirit, three in one, equal in exaltation, glory and authority, the creator of all things and the Lord of the universe.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, true God and true Man, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He was crucified, bled and died, a sinless one in the place of the sinful ones, as the redemption to save the world from the penalty and power of sin; He rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father where he intercedes for the saints as their mediator and High Priest; He will return from heaven to establish His Kingdom and to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Triune God, who descended at Pentecost, glorifies Christ, and convicts the world of their guilt so that they might come to repentance and receive new life; who abides and acts in the hearts of the believers, sanctifies and unifies them to lead victorious lives as one body in Christ, the church.

We believe that the Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the word of God, inspired by the Spirit, and that it is inerrant, trustworthy, the living word, and the ultimate authority for the faith and practice of believers.

We believe Satan is the fallen arch-angel, the source of all evil, who acts as an adversary of God in the hearts of the disobedient; who will endure eternal punishment.

We believe that humankind was created in the image of God and their spiritual life was cut off from God through their disobedience. Ever since the Fall, humankind has been helpless sinners separated from God and the object of the wrath of God. Humankind can become the children of God by repenting, having their transgressions cleansed by the precious blood of Christ Jesus, and being reborn by the Spirit.

We believe that the salvation of humankind is based on the grace and mercy of God. Everyone who truly believes that Jesus Christ died and rose again for sinners will be justified by faith and have their sins forgiven; they shall not perish but shall have eternal life.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead. The resurrected believers will enjoy eternal blessings. The resurrected unbelievers will be convicted of their sins and endure eternal punishment.

We believe that the Church is constituted by the called true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, to fulfil the mission of the Lord on earth, to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth, to build up the disciples in the truth, to serve as the salt and light of the world, to manifest the love, holiness and righteousness of God.
